CLASS and BLOCK OF THE MONTH (BOM)
Please call or stop by to register for classes and BOM’s as spaces are limited. Payment for class must be made when you register. 24 hour cancellation notice is required for a refund to be applied to next class. BOM have different time frames and you are expected to pick them on the scheduled date. No BOM block returns or refunds for cancellations.

CLASS MATERIALS LIST
Bring your machine, extra needles, pins, scissors, thread, rotary cutter, rulers, a small cutting mat and seam rippers, anything that you may use at home. Fabrics can be purchased the day of the class, or come by before class. This is your day out for some fun so bring your comforts from home. We also have a refrigerator if you want to bring your lunch or drinks. I want Quilt Heaven to be your home away from home
CLASS DESCRIPTION
January 17 – Chateau Block of the Month. Designed by the ladies from Wing and a Prayer Designs and batik fabric from Timeless Treasures. These batik fabrics have rich purples that you will love. This quilt is 108 x108 uses traditional piecing techniques. This is twelve months long and $23.50 per month. It will be ready on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Month 1 is ready for pick up. January 24 - Late Night! Yes, we are going to do it! We must limit it to 10 people so you must sign up in advance! We start at 1 pm and sew until 8:30 pm (I hope I can stay up that late, lol). I’ll provide drinks and some food; everyone brings something to add to the meal. $20.
January 31 – Quilt Seeds – Flock of Gentle Geese #1- Lori Holt has a wonderful series of patterns called Quilt Seeds! They come series and I am in love with the Goose with a quilt block. You will get #1 Gentle Flock Quilt Seed pattern and a discount on other Quilt Seeds patterns. 11-4, cost is $20 per person. Does not include fabric. We will have block kits available for $18 or chose you own fabric. Cutting instructions will be given when you register. Please have fabric cut before class.
February 7 – Open Sew – Sew whatever you want, 12 – 4, $5. Bring a snack. Limited to 6.
February 14 – Dear Heart Table Runner. Happy Valentine Day and we will celebrate with a cute snack mat! This class makes 2. You can use them as two mats or put together as one table runner. Class is $20 and includes the pattern. Kits will be available. 12-4,
February 19-22 – Cabin Fever Retreat. Its always a good when you can spend a long weekend of quilting with your friends. We will start at 8 am on Thursday and sew until 1 pm Sunday. Bring your favorite chair if you want. Cost is $40 for the weekend, does not include food or room. Because this retreat has become so popular, payment must be made by the 10th of the month of the retreat. Example, if you are going to the February Retreat, you must pay be Feb 10, to guarntee your spot. If not paid by the 10th your spot will be given to someone on the waiting list. In the past there has been no shows with a people on the waiting list. I want to be fair to all. No refunds will be given or fees carried over. You will need all your sewing supplies, like rulers and cutters. We will make shop runs if you run out of anything. Small irons can create issues with the electric, so if we start throwing breakers, we will ask you to not use them. Call the shop to register, then call the Park for a room. Lodge will be open on Wednesday evening. Future retreat dates, April 16-19, July 9-12, and October 22-25. Must pay in advance to hold your spot. Please bring a snack to add to the snack table. I will do my best to sit you with friends, however, space sometimes is not adequate to sit everyone exactly where they want to sit. Please be patient.
February 28 and March 7– Beginning Quilting. If you have wanted to learn the basics of quilting and the skills needed to be a good quilter, join us for this class. We will make a table runner, from start to finish. This will be 2 classes meeting from 1- 4, Saturday, February 28 and March 7. For the first class you will need a sewing machine, thread, a rotary cutter and ruler at least 24 inches long. You will learn how to cut, sew, quilt and bind. Limited to 6. Cost is $80, includes fabric, backing and batting. Must have 4 to sign up for the class to meet.
March 14 – Spring Bouquet - We are going to make an old time favorite, using a new tool. It’s up to you what size you make it. We are doing a table runner, but you can make it as big as you want. Class fee is $70, includes the May Fair ruler set and Spring Bouquet pattern. Fabric extra, 11-4. Fabric requirement will be given when you sign up.

March 21 – Charity Day – Join us to sit and sew for Charity. If we have enough people, we can do both Hospice and Feminine hygiene products for Africa. 12 - 4
